Introducing ONE Transit: Connecting You to What Matters

This February, the Board of Directors voted unanimously to pass a resolution adopting a new name and brand identity for the Regional Transportation Authority of Central Oklahoma. ONE Transit is designed to more clearly communicate our vision for the region to the people who live, work and visit here. More than just a name, ONE Transit is the next stop on our journey. It serves as a catalyst for growth, a rallying point for regional pride, and a fresh perspective for the future.

Together we are laying the groundwork for a connected, safe, and future-forward transit system in Central Oklahoma.

Why the Name ONE Transit

ONE Transit was inspired by the first letter of each of the current member cities – Oklahoma City, Norman, and Edmond – and signals a commitment to unity, connectivity and progress across the region. The Transit System Plan outlines our vision to develop new transit modes that integrate with existing routes to better connect people and strengthen the region. Our tagline, Connecting You to What Matters, reflects our core promise of mobility, safety and prosperity. The name is simple and strong, designed to serve as a platform for long-term growth and expanded freedom of movement for years to come.

What the ONE Transit Logo Represents

ONE Transit Logo

ONE Transit’s logo embodies a transformation in regional mobility in Central Oklahoma. More than just trains and buses, the logo reflects a historic opportunity to move forward together on a connected path. Every element of the ONE Transit logo was designed with intention:

  • Three paths, ONE vision: The three dynamic lines represent a unified regional collaboration through a diversified yet cohesive transit system.
  • Movement & Progress: Angled shapes suggest transit modes and vehicle forms, evoking motion and embodying the forward momentum we aim to inspire throughout the community.
  • Bold & Legible: Clean, impactful typography and bold colors reinforce unity, accessibility and clarity across our materials and rider experience.

The ONE Transit logo symbolizes unity, connectivity and progress.

One Region, One Vision, ONE Transit: Our Values

ONE Transit’s core principles guide decision-making as we work toward one bold, future-forward regional system that makes getting around easier and safer. As a region with a history of embracing new ideas, Central Oklahoma values opportunity and innovation. Bringing this tradition into the transit industry empowers individuals with expanded access to employment, education, and business opportunities that support a growing region.

Our services are designed with the community’s well-being in mind. Inclusion, accessibility, safety, and reliability remain at the forefront of our transit plans.
